
On September 15, the FBI revealed a “shocking” note was found inside the home of the accused sniper and his transgender partner – evidence investigators say could explain why the killer wanted to “take out” Charlie Kirk.
After Charlie Kirk was fatally shot during a Sept. 10 event at Utah Valley University (UVU), authorities announced that an arrest had been made 33 hours later.

Footage of the incident, along with the suspect escaping the scene, was blasted on TV and across the internet. The clip showed the man, dressed in a black T-shirt with an eagle and American flag, leaping from the roof of a UVU building moments after the shooting, fleeing into a wooded area with his face hidden behind dark sunglasses and a baseball cap.
When the images surfaced, one man immediately recognized him – his father.
“Tyler, is this you? This looks like you,” the father later asked his son, according to officials.
The young man then confessed to his dad, per CNN.
