What Happened
• Charlie Kirk (age 31), founder and prominent voice of Turning Point USA, was shot on September 10, 2025, during an outdoor campus appearance at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, as part of his “American Comeback Tour.” He was manning his signature “Prove Me Wrong” table when a shot struck him in the neck or head area.
• Despite being rushed to the hospital, Charlie Kirk succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at age 31.
Shooting Details & Aftermath
• The incident occurred in broad daylight, just after Kirk began engaging in a debate with students. Video from bystanders captured the moment when a single shot echoed—and Kirk collapsed, with blood visible.
• Reports indicate the shot may have originated from a building roughly 200 yards away on campus. An older male was initially taken into custody but was later not considered the suspect. The true shooter remains at large.
• Following the shooting, UVU closed the campus, canceled classes, and encouraged staff and students to evacuate as authorities—including the FBI and ATF—responded.
