Mexican actress Lorena Rojas, who starred in more than a dozen telenovelas, died Monday of cancer at her Miami home. She was 44. Her talent management agency Latin WE confirmed her death to The Associated Press.
Born in Mexico City, Rojas’ first acting gig was in 1990 in telenovela Alcanzar Una Estrella, produced by Televisa, followed by the sequel following year, Alcanzar Una Estrella II.
