Donald and Melania Trump recently marked their 20th wedding anniversary. While reports suggest they have faced some challenging times in recent years, their marriage currently appears strong.

However, according to a former friend of Melania’s, it is not necessary for everything to be perfect. This friend claims there is a specific reason Melania will never leave Donald, even if their marriage is struggling.

Their wedding took place at Bethesda-By-the-Sea on January 22, 2005. For their 20th anniversary, they marked the occasion by returning to the White House.

Donald and Melania have been a prominent couple for years, but reports of disagreements—such as the infamous jacket incident—frequently surfaced during their first term in Washington.

Adding to these differences, Melania Trump revealed in her memoir that she passionately defends abortion rights, an issue her husband doesn’t agree with.

The First Lady wants to show she is an individual, not just Donald Trump’s wife. Earlier this year, in an interview with Fox, Melania explained she gives her husband advice, but he doesn’t always listen.

“Maybe some people see me as just a wife of the President, but I’m standing on my own two feet, independent, I have my own thoughts, I have my own ‘yes’ and ‘no,’” Melania said.

“I don’t always agree [with] what my husband is saying or doing, and that’s ok. I give him my advice, and sometimes he listens, sometimes he doesn’t.”

Disagreements are common in marriage and can be healthy. However, earlier this year, author Michael Wolff reported that Melania’s feelings for Donald may have deteriorated significantly.

In All or Nothing, Wolff cites a source claiming that Melania lacks affection for her husband and prefers not to live near him.

“She f***ing hates him”, a “Mar-a-Lago patio confidant,” the source was said to have told Wolff.

Wolff further wrote that Melania laughed off her husband’s campaign team’s efforts to involve her, as she was not present on the campaign trail.

Donald Trump has been in hot water several times in recent years, including being found guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in relation to a hush-money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, who claimed to have engaged in a sexual encounter with him.

Last year, Stephanie Grisham, Melania’s former White House friend and colleague, described Melania’s mindset as her husband faced criminal charges.

Grisham claims there is a specific reason why Melania will never leave Donald Trump, emphasizing the core argument about Melania’s commitment.

“She knew what she was getting into. She may have been concerned about how it affected his future image, but she wasn’t going anywhere,” she said.

During the hush-money trial, Trump’s former attorney claimed that Trump was unconcerned about Melania’s reaction to the Stormy Daniels affair going public. Cohen said Trump remarked, “How long do you think I’ll be on the market for? Not long.”

Stephanie Grisham gave her insight on the comment, saying, “I think that comment [from Trump] to Cohen rang absolutely true. She’s happy, she’s got a very good life. She’s not going anywhere; that’s been proven. And so I absolutely believe he said something like that to Michael Cohen.”
