eye, has been equally instrumental, advocating for the return of Ukrainian children abducted, by Russia Olena and Volodymyr’s
bond, forged in their hometown, grew from friendship to romance. They married in 2003 and had two children. Initially not
involved in politics, Olena became a key behind-the-scenes figure in Volodymyr’s career.In 2022, as war broke out, Olena
stayed in Ukraine, supporting her husband while facing immense personal challenges. She advocates for Ukraine’s interests
globally, including the return of abducted children, with over 19,000 still missing. Olena’s dedication to Ukraine’s future
reflects her unwavering resilience.
