Céline Dion’s older sister, Claudette, has voiced her worries regarding Céline’s health, revealing that she is struggling with muscle control.
Despite her relentless dedication to her career and dream of returning to the stage, the progressive and incurable nature of her condition makes it an uphill battle. Claudette highlighted that research on this rare disorder is limited due to its extreme rarity, affecting just one in a million individuals.
Stiff Person Syndrome can drastically hinder movement, sometimes rendering those affected almost immobile, like “human statues.”
While there were speculations about Céline using a wheelchair, Claudette denied these claims, focusing instead on her sister’s strength and passion for life. Céline remains steadfast in her efforts to return to the stage, strictly following her treatment plan in Denver under her doctors’ guidance.
