Trump Border Czar Vows Jail Time for FBI Leakers Over ICE Raid Secrets

Border czar Tom Homan has issued a stark warning to anyone leaking sensitive information about upcoming ICE operations, claiming that those responsible—if found—will face jail time, lose their jobs and pensions, and be subject to criminal prosecution. In a fiery statement on Fox News, Homan pointed to leaks implicating FBI involvement as particularly egregious, suggesting that internal sources have compromised crucial intelligence on major ICE raids.

During an appearance on Fox News, Homan accused the FBI of leaking details about a large-scale raid slated for California later this month. “We think it’s coming from inside,” he said, referring to the confidential information regarding ICE operations in Colorado that recently appeared in media reports. The leaked information, Homan explained, has already jeopardized the safety of ICE agents on the ground by potentially alerting criminals about impending raids.

In a pointed exchange with host Sean Hannity, Homan made it clear that he believes these leaks are not isolated incidents. “Some of the information we are receiving tends to point toward the FBI,” he stated. He also mentioned that he had spoken with the deputy attorney general, who confirmed that a criminal investigation has been opened. “They’re looking into whether the leaks constitute a felony under federal law,” Homan added. “If the investigation confirms that someone is deliberately sabotaging our operations, that person will lose not only their job but also their pension. They will go to jail.”

Homan expressed particular frustration over a recent leak concerning an ICE raid in Aurora, Colorado. The operation was so significant that FBI and DEA agents were being dispatched to assist ICE personnel. “These leaks put our officers at risk, because bad actors might use this information to set them up,” Homan explained. “This is not a game. When crucial details of a raid are exposed, it jeopardizes lives.”

The threat of jail time is not Homan’s only concern. He emphasized that the leaks undermine the integrity of federal law enforcement and the entire immigration system. “I sent an email to the Deputy Attorney General today asking, ‘At what level does this leak become an impediment?’ We need clear guidance on this matter,” he said. Homan added that if these leaks continue, they will severely hinder the Department of Homeland Security’s ability to enforce our immigration laws.

This development comes amid a broader national debate over immigration policies and the role of federal agencies in enforcing them. Some Democrats have also entered the fray, albeit from a different perspective. For instance, New York Representative Dan Goldman has used his social media platform to advise constituents on their rights during ICE encounters. In a video posted on X, Goldman stressed that American citizens should be aware of their rights when interacting with immigration enforcement officers, advising people to be informed and cautious. “No matter what the next four years bring, stay informed, stay safe, and stay together,” he urged
