Tom Hanks’ family is in tears

Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis Presley, passed unexpectedly on Thursday at the age of 54 following a heart arrest at her Calabasas home.

The actress was transported to the hospital with her mother, Priscilla Presley, given a temporary pacemaker and put in an induced coma; nevertheless, hours later, a distraught Priscilla confirmed the star’s passing.

Lisa Marie’s mother Priscilla acknowledged in a statement, “It is with a heavy heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.

She was the most fervent, powerful, and loving woman I’ve ever met. We request discretion as we work to process this tragic loss. Thank you for your prayers and kindness. No other comments will be made at this time.

Hollywood celebrities, who had met with her at the Golden Globes only a few days earlier, hurried to pay Lisa Marie respect.

One of the first people to post about Elvis Presley’s daughter was John Travolta, who wrote: “Lisa baby child, I’m very sad. Although I’ll miss you, I’m confident I’ll see you again. For Riley, Priscilla, Harper, and Finley, my love and heart are with them.

We are devastated by the loss of Lisa Marie Presley, Tom Hanks wrote a stunning portrait of the singer. Absolutely damaged Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks.”

Rita selected a stunning image of herself with Lisa Marie, Priscilla, and Riley Keough, Lisa’s daughter.

“With Lisa Marie Presley’s tragic and unexpected demise tonight, our hearts are devastated. On the Elvis movie marketing tour, Tom and I had some time with the family.

“Lisa Marie was so open and direct, exposed, and filled with excitement for the film. It was clear from the way she spoke about her father and what the film meant to her that it was a celebration of her father, the author wrote.

She was accompanied by her lovely daughters Finley and Harper, who made us all chuckle. She gave us a personal tour of Graceland and made us feel at home. She was quite kind to Austin, Baz, and the visitors.

“Please go listen to her music if you haven’t already. I had always adored her seductive voice, which radiated both strength and tenderness. We are sending Riley, Harper, Finley, Danny, and Priscilla our love and prayers.

There should never be a mother who loses a child. Priscilla lost her only daughter, while Lisa Marie lost her cherished son Benjamin. It’s excessive. Love and prayers for the family’s well-being are sent. Rita and Tom with l
