Tina Turner’s Family Sends Cease And Desist To The View: “Stop Using Her Music, She Wasn’t a Fan”

It only took the producers of “The View” a few hours to decide the show would use the death of Tina Turner as a reason to boost ratings. Just after the horrible announcement of Ms. Turner’s passing, the hosts of the tacky show emerged from backstage with outfits straight out of Thunderdome. They then danced their way to the stage to Lizzo’s rendition of “Proud Mary.”

“The whole thing was in poor taste,” said Turner family attorney Thomas Bagger, “they had no right to run an homage-themed show without first getting permission.”

According to the show, they have the right to use the music because while it was a song with a famous cover by Tina Turner, it’s not her song, and she wasn’t even represented in the vocals.

“We still take offense that they dressed like her and wore Thunderdome wigs,” said Bagger, “they were clearly trying to profit from her image.”

According to internet rumors, Whoopi and Tina weren’t even friends. They had a falling out in the 80s over who would buy In and Out Burger and they never spoke again.

We were able to confirm that while the rumor is probably not completely true, there is a good possibility that Turner liked her burgers with extra onions.

“Onions are delicious. It’s no wonder a great American like Tina Turner would love them.” Amen to that, patriots, and God Bless America.
