“Three’s Company” Star Dead at 76

On October 15, just one day before her 77th birthday, Suzanne Somers has passed away. The actress’s longtime publicist confirmed the news.

In a statement shared by Somers’ camp, it reads, “Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 15th. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years.”

“Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband Alan, her son Bruce, and her immediate family.”

Devastatingly, Somers had just opened up about her plans to celebrate her 77th birthday with her family following the return of the breast cancer. Now, Somers’ family will “celebrate her extraordinary life” during a private memorial.” The statement adds that her family “want(s) to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly.”

A public memorial for Somers will take place next month.

A friend of Somers further told Page Six that Somers “died in her new ‘all green home’ in Palm Springs, in her sleep with her loving husband by her side.”

Alan, who had been married to Somers for 46 years, was able to present Somers with a birthday present shortly before her passing. The friend claimed the present was “a handwritten love poem wrapped in her favorite pink peonies.

Our hearts break for Somers’ family during this difficult time.
