STORY – MY GRANDMA WAS THE CHEAPEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD

After my grandmother passed away, I inherited a $50 gift card she had kept

for years. When I tried to use it, the cashier and manager reacted strangely, leading me into an unexpected conversation.

It turned out my grandma, known for being frugal, had secretly used her savings

to anonymously help struggling families by buying gift cards. This card was the

last one she purchased, and it had never been redeemed. Touched by her hidden generosity,

I decided to honor her legacy. I gave the card to a young woman at a diner who needed it,

and it sparked a desire in me to continue my grandma’s work. I started a fund in

her name, helping those in need with kindness and small gestures.

My grandma wasn’t cheap—she was rich in love, and now I’m passing that love forward.
