SPECIAL MIRACLE: 3 Missing Texas Girls Found Alive in a Hollow Tree 1 Mile From Camp

Three Missing Girls Found Alive in Hollow Tree After Texas Flood

In a stunning survival story, three girls missing after the Texas flood were found alive inside the hollow trunk of a large oak tree, just a mile from the

wrecked Camp Wrenwood. Emily Rivera, Zoey Nash, and Hope Lin—ages 8 to 10—survived for nearly 10 days without food, relying on rainwater and each other.

A volunteer hiker discovered them after hearing a faint voice whisper, “We’re here… please don’t leave.”

Emergency teams found the girls curled up in wet towels, having used a broken shoelace and tree bark to create a makeshift door.

Doctors credit their survival to a pre-camp safety drill and their clever rainwater collection method, using plastic wrappers and

even wringing out wet clothing to drink. Though dehydrated and covered in insect bites and minor scrapes, the girls were stable.

They say thoughts of their mothers gave them strength and their bond kept them hopeful. Their courage has captivated the nation,

with hashtags like #HollowTreeHeroes and #3StrongGirls trending, church bells ringing, and officials

praising their resilience: “They saved each other. We will never forget these girls.”
