Sharon Osbourne shares devastating news as she grieves death of beloved dog Elvis

Sharon Osbourne lost her beloved husband and rock icon Ozzy Osbourne a few months ago. Now, the 73-year-old shares news on another devastating loss as she grieves her dog, Elvis.

Sharon Osbourne and her family lost their beloved Ozzy Osborne in July. She and Ozzy were married for 43 years before the rock icon passed away.

Now, sadly, Sharon has shared a new devastating loss in the family as her “darling” dog Elvis has passed away. The former talk show host and reality television star shared a post on Instagram, grieving her husky.

“I can’t believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week. He gave me 14 precious year. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy!” Sharon wrote.

Daughter Kelly Osbourne also shared an update on the loss of Elvis.

“It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that we lost Elvis this week. Our guardian angel has left us. Elvis did not leave my side since my dad passed,” Kelly wrote on Instagram.

“He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life. I keep trying to find a positive in all of this and the only thing I can come up with is that maybe my dad needed him. Life can be so cruel but also give you many treasures. We were so lucky to have Elvis for 14 years. Thank you for all the love Elvis you were on of a kind. I love you sleep well sweet prince until we meet again!.”

Fans quickly offered their condolences, telling Sharon that Elvis had now been reunited with Ozzy.

“Oh noooooo I’m so sorry Sharon I know he was always right by your side. Sending you so much,” one wrote.

Another added, “So sorry dear Sharon,” while a third said, “So very sorry for your loss. Elvis is with Ozzy now.”

Sharon Osbourne has kept herself outside the spotlight since Ozzy’s funeral procession in late July. A few weeks after the funeral, she and her daughter, Kelly, released a video where they thanked fans for their support in this very challenging time.

Jack shared update on mom Sharon amid Ozzy’s death

Not long ago, when appearing on Good Morning America, Sharon and Ozzy’s son, Jack, shared an update on how his mother is doing.

“You know, when people have been asking me that question, I say, ‘She’s OK, but she’s not OK’,” Jack said, adding that he knows his mother “feels the love” from fans.

“None of us expected it to be like this, with that outpour of love,” he continued. “Every child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day that parents won’t be there, and what will that be like. It’s just a part of being human. We just didn’t think of it. It was a different weight to it, you know?”
