Richard Gere leaves the United States for Spain with his family and vows never to return, citing reasons related to Elon Musk

Richard Gere shocked the public by announcing his decision to move to Spain with his family and never return to the U.S. The actor cited growing frustration with the influence of tech mogul Elon Musk on American society as the main reason for his departure. Gere expressed concerns about Musk’s impact on media, technology, and the environment, particularly his ownership of Twitter and his SpaceX projects.

Though Gere didn’t explicitly mention Musk in his public statements, many believe his comments referred to Musk’s control over important issues. The actor, a long-time advocate for human rights and the environment, sees Musk’s influence as a threat to American values.

Gere’s move to Spain, where he has deep ties and investments, has drawn mixed reactions. Supporters commend his commitment to personal values, while critics accuse him of fleeing instead of confronting the issues.

Gere, now living in a peaceful countryside villa in Spain, shared that he wanted to live a meaningful life where his values align with his surroundings. He emphasized that Spain offers the balance and peace America no longer does.
