RFK Jr. adviser shares shock theory for Trump’s ‘dementia’

Donald Trump’s health has been a hot topic for months. Some have accused him of having developed dementia, and his swollen ankles, as well as bruises on his hand, have led to reports about his health possibly decreasing. Now, an advisor to Robert F. Kennedy Jr has given a shocking theory on Trump’s dementia and swollen ankles reports.

That Donald Trump is suffering from dementia has been claimed by mostly his opponents. As late as last week, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker made the claim, and several others have done the same before him.

Meanwhile, bruises on Trump’s hands – which the White House says are due to the many handshakes he performs – and swollen ankles have left concerns about the president’s overall health.

In July, Donald Trump underwent a “comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies,” with the White House Medical Unit. The president’s physician, Sean Barbabella, stated that Donald Trump had “noted mild swelling in his lower legs.”

“The president underwent a comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies. Bilateral lower extremity venous Doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency, a benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70,” the statement read.

Dr. Sean Barbabella further noted there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease, which would be more serious conditions. The president’s lab testing was all “within normal limits.” Trump also underwent an echocardiogram, and there were “no signs of heart failure, renal impairment, or systemic illness were identified,” Barbabella wrote.

Controversial doctor shares shock theory on Donald Trump’s ‘dementia’ and swollen ankles

Now, another person has given his opinion on Donald Trump’s health and a possible explanation for Trump’s swollen ankles and alleged “dementia.”

The controversial Dr. Aseem Malhotra, a British cardiologist, has advised the lobby group Make America Healthy Again (MAHA). Previously, his views have been denounced by many experts and medical organisations, including the British Heart Foundation.

Per The Daily Beast, Malhotra is claimed to have passed on his concerns to the Trump administration about the president’s health. But not because of “brain fog” and swelling, but rather because he takes statins and aspirin.

Speaking to the Daily Beast, Malhotra said, “I have seen news reports about Donald Trump showing apparent signs of dementia, and we know that he has chronic venous insufficiency, which can cause swollen ankles and hands. I don’t think he has dementia—it is the side effects of statins that may be making him feel fatigued and sleepy.”

Per the news outlet, the controversial doctor told the European Parliament, in an event live-streamed on the “Make Europe Healthy Again” website, that he considers Trump to be “almost superhuman.”

“I’d want to optimize him even further”

“If I was his personal physician I’d want to optimize him even further, and the first step would be to stop his aspirin and the cholesterol lowering medications he’s taking that are likely shortening his lifespan and giving him fatigue,” Malhotra claimed.

“In someone like President Trump, with evidence from tests of no significant vascular disease, he is much more likely to suffer a serious life threatening bleed from aspirin than it prevents him from having a heart attack or stroke.”

Patients are advised not to stop prescribed medications without consulting their clinicians.
