Princess Charlotte crowned ‘richest child in the world,’ future king comes in second

Though her brother Prince George might be the future of the British monarchy, Princess Charlotte is the family’s crown jewel.

According to a new study, the eight-year-old princess is the “wealthiest royal grandchild and the richest child in the world,” with a colossal estimated net worth of about $4.4 billion

Keep reading to learn why Charlotte has more money to her name than both of her brothers!

At only eight years old, Princess Charlotte is already a mini fashion icon who’s turning heads and making coin.

As one of the world’s most photographed children, the little royal is heavily influencing fashion trends, which contributes to her title of the richest child in the world.

The eight-year-old royal, the second born and only daughter to Kate Middleton and William, Prince of Wales, recently topped the list of a new study, Celebrity Child Rich List, released by Outdoor Toys.

According to the study, Charlotte’s treasure trove of riches comes from inheritances, investments, and other assets of the Crown Estate. Her wealth is also linked to the ‘Kate Middleton Effect’…where the royal family’s fashion choices significantly impact fashion trends.”

“The girl is the wealthiest royal grandchild and the richest child in the world,” and has an estimated net worth of about $4.4 billion.

“Most fashion pieces that the Duchess of Cambridge is seen in subsequently fly off the shelves, and ‘the Kate effect’ was even coined to describe the impact she had on fashion brands after being photographed in their items.”

The study explains the British fashion industry experienced an enormous boost in profits, with her mother – whose styles “increase desirability by 38 percent for American shoppers” – being called “the most powerful royal fashion influencer.”

Like her mom, Charlotte’s fashion choices also have a significant effect on the UK economy and the little fashionista will only become more influential as she grows older.

Charlotte, George and Louis are the only three British-born children who earned a spot in the top 10.

Falling second only to his little sister, Prince George is the second richest child in the world, with an estimated wealth of $3.5 billion USD to his name.

The 10-year-old, second in the line of succession for the British throne, inherited 133,000 acres of land across 23 counties in the UK when he was born.

Coming in ninth place, after celebrity kids like Blue Ivy Carter (daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z) and Stormi Webster (daughter of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott), is Prince Louis.

The little prince, who turns six on April 23, has an estimated worth of $124.2 million and has many more years to grow his wealth.
