Our thoughts and prayers are with Willie Nelson during this difficult times…

Willie Nelson is widely regarded as one of the most acclaimed living performers in the genre of country music, and the contributions that he and his family have made to the field have served as an inspiration to a newer generation of country music artists.

Willie Nelson is touring the United States with the Nelson Family, despite being 89 years old and still alive and well.

Recently, he revealed for the first time to the general public that at the beginning of this year he had a very disturbing health problem, about which he had been silent until now.

Willie Nelson said last May, while the band was on tour, that a member of Willie Nelson’s family had tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, Willie Nelson decided to cancel their Jazz Fest headlining gig.

Willie’s recent admission that he is in fact playing a band member was the first time the public learned the name of a mysterious band member.

The country music legend, who was 89 at the time, reportedly slept on her tour bus before traveling to Nashville, The New York Times reported. They said he woke up in the middle of the night complaining of shortness of breath. Currently, Willie’s rapid PCR test results have come back positive for the COVID-19 virus.

The fact that he turned 89 at the time makes the situation even more dire as it makes him more susceptible to the complexities of the virus.

“I had a nebulizer on the bus for my asthma. At that point, I started working on everything I could, including Paxlovid. Monoclonal antibodies were present in his system. He had steroids, “It was Willie Nelson’s wife, Anna, who shared their story with the media.

When they returned to their home in Spicewood, Texas, they brought an entire medical unit with them to the ranch so they could monitor Willie Nelson’s health and make sure he was recovering well from his illness.

“We turned the house into a medical facility. There were some points where I doubted whether it would work or not,” she sidestepped again.
Nelson’s return to touring began two weeks after the COVID-19 scare, with concerts in New Braunfels, Texas. It took Nelson six days to recover from a health scare caused by the COVID-19 virus.

“It was not at all easy for me to cope. SOVID sure ain’t got nothing to turn on, that’s for sure,” quips Willie.

Willie Nelson and His Family Band will headline the 2022 Farm Aid Music Festival on September 24 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Other notable performers scheduled to appear at the event include John Mellencamp, Margot Price, Chris Stapleton and Sheryl Crow.
