Nancy Sinatra issues 3-word attack at Donald Trump as he posts video of Frank Sinatra singing

Donald Trump posted a video of Frank Sinatra singing his hit “My Way” on social media, sparking fears about what would happen next. Now, the legendary singer’s daughter, artist Nancy Sinatra, has issued a furious response to the U.S President over posting a clip of her father.

On Saturday, the 79-year-old president posted a nearly 4-minute clip of Frank Sinatra’s live performance of “My Way” on Truth Social. Trump didn’t add any context, which sparked widespread speculations about his intentions.

The text to the song reads, “And now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain. My friend, I’ll say it clear, I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain, I’ve lived a life that’s full, I traveled each and every highway, and more, much more than this, I did it my way.”

The song continues, “Regrets, I’ve had a few, but then again, too few to mention. I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption. I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway, and more, much more than this, I did it my way.”

On social media, people speculated whether Trump is doing OK and what the My Way song could refer to. One person asked: “Is he foreshadowing his demise….?”

A second wrote, “I would focus more on the ‘I did it my way’ than ‘the end is near’.”

A third added, “Such a chilling subliminal. Either the end is near for us or Donald Trump. Either way, this series gets no better anytime soon.”

“Trump sharing those exact lines from My Way feels like a clear signal. He plans to finish the Iran situation exactly on his terms with no regrets and no bending to outside pressure. Straight message that he will see it through his own path,” a fourth user wrote.

While many discussed and offered theories about what Donald Trump’s Frank Sinatra post could mean, one person in particular was furious that the 79-year-old President of the United States had posted it in the first place.

My Way was written by Paul Anka. It was an English version of the French song Comme d’habitude and was written for Frank Sinatra ahead of his planned retirement. However, the song’s success led Frank to change his plans and continue performing.

The song has been covered by more than 100 artists, including Elvis and the Sex Pistols. Frank Sinatra died in 1998, but on Sunday, Trump revived the legendary singer’s hit by posting it on Truth Social.

It made Nancy Sinatra furious. On Sunday, the daughter of Frank Sinatra wrote, “This is sacrilege,” after an X user tagged her and wrote, “Omg, Nancy Sinatra will not be happy about this. Trump goes against everything that Frank stood for. He was a big champion for equality and supported the Civil Rights movement.”

She also responded to a fan commenting on the post, stating, “Trump may love Sinatra, but Sinatra did not love Trump.”

Another fan asked Nancy Sinatra if she had any power to stop Donald Trump from using her father’s music. She responded, “Unfortunately, no. The only people who can do something are the publishers,” which are Because Music and Primary Wave.”

On Monday, April 20, Nancy Sinatra once again showed her disgust with Donald Trump using her father’s music.

She reposted another user’s post that stated, “This is just sickening. Frank Sinatra would never have allowed that monster in the White House to use his music or put his lyrics in his mouth. Sinatra was a man of honor, a man who never had to lie about who he truly was because he WAS the greatest. Trump is a loser.”
