Music Industry Mourns: Tragic Double Homicide Claims Lives of Acclaimed Executive and Husband Thomas Deluca

The entertainment industry has been shaken by the tragic news involving a prominent music executive and her husband, whose deaths were discovered earlier this week in Encino. Los Angeles authorities had responded to a welfare check at their home, only to find the couple dead under violent and deeply disturbing circumstances. Neighbors and colleagues, visibly stunned, described the two as warm, gifted, and passionately devoted to their work in the music world.

According to police reports, officers arriving at the residence noticed blood near the front door. After repeated attempts to contact anyone inside went unanswered, they entered the home by breaking a window. Once inside, they discovered both individuals deceased, with early findings suggesting they suffered gunshot wounds. The Los Angeles Police Department has since opened a full investigation, treating the situation as a potential double homicide as detectives work to determine what led to the tragic event.

News of the couple’s deaths has sent shockwaves throughout the music and entertainment communities. Tributes quickly began circulating from colleagues who admired their commitment, expertise, and influence behind the scenes. Friends spoke of their kindness, their creativity, and the countless ways they supported artists without seeking recognition. Social media has been flooded with messages of grief, remembrance, and demands for answers as authorities continue to piece together the circumstances of their deaths.

The victims have been identified as Robin Kaye, the acclaimed music supervisor celebrated for her work on American Star, and her husband, Thomas Deluca. Robin’s decades-long career left a profound mark on the industry, helping shape the trajectories of numerous artists and contributing to the success of major music projects. The devastating loss of Robin and Thomas has left family, friends, and the broader music community heartbroken, creating a void that will be felt for many years to come.
