Map reveals the 6 most dangerous places to be if WW3 breaks out

Anyone with a quarter of a brain knows that World War Three is a good idea for precisely zero of the estimated 8.2 million human beings on this Earth.

The prospect of nuclear conflict in an age where the destructive capabilities of mankind’s weaponry have exceeded sense and sensibility is terrifying indeed – and yet it very much appears as though that’s the way we’re headed, albeit currently at a steady crawl.

With already strained global tensions being stretched further every month, one wonders how the powers that be can possibly prevent the outbreak of a war the likes this world has never seen. There is a chance that ultimately wisdom prevails and no one instigates a conflict highly likely to be the end of us all, but there’s also the very real possibility that the wrong individual makes a rash decision, effectively dooming most of the rest of the people on Planet Earth.

With that in mind, it’s probably a good idea that you know where not to be in the event that WWIII does end up happening. Given the aforementioned phenomenal power of the missiles in the arsenals of today, nowhere in the world is truly safe if the superpowers decide to start throwing warheads at one another.

That being said, there are places that are decidedly more dangerous than others. According to analysis from the Daily Express, below are the six places that will be the worst to live in or be in if the war to end all wars breaks out.

The U.S.

No surprises here. If World War III is to happen, the chances are very high that the United States will be involved. In fact, given Trump’s erratic style of governance and increasingly worrying apparent stratagem, it could well be the U.S.’s actions kick off any such conflict.

Suffice it to say that keeping away from the States will likely be a good idea, particularly if the U.S. finds itself on the opposing end of the battlefield from another superpower.

One expert has even gone as far as to detail the 15 U.S. cities that would be most at risk of being targeted in the event of a war.

Iran

Last year, Iran was bombed by the U.S. after it was alleged that the country were creating nuclear materials. It also sent missiles in Israel’s direction, and the Trump administration recently warned of impending military action if the Middle Eastern country doesn’t quell its current political chaos.

Israel

Considering their long-standing conflict with Palestine, coupled with the aforementioned attack from Iranian missiles last year, tensions are currently very high indeed.

Israel might not be as likely to be drawn into a World War as the U.S. or Russia are, but it’s far from the safest place to be.

Russia

Another fairly obvious one. Russia has been at war with Ukraine since its invasion in 2022, and its aggressive stance hasn’t yet been blunted.

Vladimir Putin and other high-ranking Russian officials have frequently warned that their country is prepared for any war, be with it with the U.S. or with NATO as a whole.

Taiwan

Taiwan remains under the very real threat of Chinese invasion. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has said it wants to ‘reunify’ the two countries, with President Xi Jinping declaring in 2021 that China and Taiwan’s ‘reunification’ must happen.

In his recent New Year’s speech, President Xi reiterated the importance of this, saying: “The reunification of our motherland, a trend of the times, is unstoppable.”

Put simply, if a World War breaks out, China may quickly move to succumb Taiwan. Don’t be there when it happens.

North Korea

Perhaps a bit of a wild card given their global standing (plus the fact the chances of you finding yourself in North Korea anytime soon are extremely remote), but North Korea has been allied with Russia for several years and is rumored to have sent troops to fight on their behalf in Ukraine.

If North Korea happen to be involved in some way in World War III, it’s best to stay well away.
