Jon Bon Jovi’s new grandchild arrives – and fans say his strong genes strike again

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi is now officially a two-time grandpa, and his family is glowing with joy.

The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer’s son, Jesse Bongiovi, and his wife, Jesse Light, just welcomed their first baby — and many fans are saying the same thing.

Second granddaughter

On November 10, 2025, Jesse Bongiovi and his wife, Jesse Light, welcomed their first child together — a baby girl named Blair Lucy Bongiovi.

Sharing the happy news on Instagram, the couple posted a tender photo of their newborn, wrapped in a soft white blanket with a tiny hand clutching an adult’s finger and a pastel striped hospital beanie perched on her head.

Jesse captioned it:

“Blair Lucy Bongiovi. Our sweet girl has arrived, and we couldn’t be happier. Welcome to the world, baby Blair bear.”

Fans immediately flooded the comments, praising the adorable new addition.

“Blair Lucy… the cutest name ever!” one wrote, while another added, “The parents are Jesse and Jesse? Congrats. Blair is a nice name.” Some couldn’t resist a little humor, joking, “I hope they named the baby Jesse,” or “Should have made her middle name Jesse!”

A series of intimate photos

Blair’s arrival follows just a months after Jon’s second son, Jake Bongiovi, and his wife, actress Millie Bobby Brown, announced that they had adopted a baby.

Millie shared a series of intimate photos on Instagram, capturing tender moments of Jake cradling her and the newborn. While the baby’s face was intentionally blurred to preserve privacy, fans were quick to gush online.

“So sweet,” commented one, while another added, “the prettiest 🥹🫶🎀💜” and someone else exclaimed, “You guys are the cutest ❤️.”

Some fans couldn’t help but gush over the family’s looks, writing, “His genes are very strong.”

Jon Bon Jovi on being a grandpa

Even Jon Bon Jovi himself has been reflecting on the joy of becoming a grandparent. In a September interview on Bunnie Xo’s podcast, he shared heartfelt words about Millie:

“She’s a sweetheart and she’s a hard worker. I tell her all the time how much I admire her because her work ethic is unbelievable.”

He continued, speaking about both young couples:

”They got married very young, but we blessed it because we get it. They are sort of mature beyond their years. She comes from a family where her parents are still together, and they married very young. Her and Jake fell in love, and we just thought, okay, we will support this. And it’s working out.”

And when asked how it feels to step into grandparenthood?

Jon’s response was full of warmth:

“Crazy, but great. Wonderful. We met the baby, obviously, and immediately, that becomes your grandchild. It’s beautiful, I want to see pictures like every day. I’m that pain in the butt guy already. It’s cool.”

The 63-year-old rocker also revealed the sweet nickname he plans to go by with his granddaughters, inspired by Millie’s hit show Stranger Things:

”She won’t be able to walk for at least 10 or 12 years because Papa will be carrying her everywhere she goes,” he said, laughing. ”Papa” is the name I’ll go by with my granddaughter.

With Jesse and Jake both starting families, Jon Bon Jovi’s legacy is growing in the most personal and heartwarming way. Fans have watched the rock icon evolve from music legend to doting grandfather, proving that behind the spotlight, family remains at the heart of life’s sweetest moments.
