These never-before-seen photos from the “The Green Mile” star’s collection are sure to delight all.

Following his performance in “The Green Mile,” when he expertly portrayed a man who had been sentenced to death, this extraordinarily talented, highly regarded, and admirable actor received widespread recognition and praise.

Still, his real life wasn’t all that fantastic either. He was raised by a single mother. Later, the potential great was forced to drop out of school and give up on basketball because of a lack of finances.

A security guard by trade, he became a bodyguard because of his height, athletic frame, and exceptional physical condition.

Later, he and Bruce Willis co-starred in the movie “Armageddon.” This one allowed him to play “The Green Mile,” his most well-known role. Clarke has acted in the movies Sin City and Planet of the Apes.

He had a heart attack in the hospital in 2012, and tragically, the consequences proved to be fatal.
