John Cena breaks Make-A-Wish record, volunteering time to make 650 children’s wishes come true

When John Cena isn’t body-slamming opponents in the wrestling ring or acting in blockbuster movies, he’s doing something even more amazing.

He’s been a wish-granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation since 2004, making dreams come true for kids who are seriously ill.

Guess what?

Cena holds the record for granting the most wishes in the 42-year history of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Recently, he hit a milestone that left everyone in awe: he’s granted over 650 wishes!

“I just drop everything,” Cena said, according to KTLA.

“If I can offer a fantastic experience, I’ll be first in line to do my part.”

That’s right, Cena doesn’t just talk the talk; he walks the walk.

But here’s the kicker: the families and kids love Cena just as much as he loves helping them.

In fact, Make-A-Wish says he’s the most requested celebrity.

That’s a whole lot of love going both ways!

“The reason I love Make-A-Wish so much is because those are those families’ wishes,” Cena explained.

“You can do anything you want, and Make-A-Wish’s list is enormous. ‘I want to kick it with John Cena and go see him wrestle’—that’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard.”

While Cena is helping to bring joy and comfort to many families, he says those feelings are mutual.
“All those things considered, I love all that – I love that joy, I love that connection,” he said.

Cena’s impact doesn’t just end when the wish is granted.

Families often send him messages, sharing how much it meant for their kids to spend time with him, sometimes during the last days of their lives.

“Those are always difficult to read,” Cena admitted, “but it’s very special.”

Cena isn’t just giving joy; he’s receiving it too.

“I love that joy, I love that connection,” he said.

It’s a win-win situation where everyone walks away with their hearts a little fuller.

One of Cena’s latest visits was to a 19-year-old fan with Down syndrome.

This young man credited Cena with giving him the courage to escape Ukraine during the Russian invasion.

They met in the Netherlands, and it was a dream come true for the entire family.

Cena has made it crystal clear that his charity work is his top priority.

“If you ever need me for this ever, I don’t care what I’m doing, I will drop what I’m doing and be involved,” he declared.

“That’s the same gift I get in giving back to people’s lives, in being able to give them wonderful emotional moments.”

So there you have it, folks. John Cena isn’t just a superstar in the ring; he’s a superstar in the hearts of hundreds of kids and their families.
