Jimmy Kimmel savagely roasts

Before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, comedian Jimmy Kimmel created a mock version of the event on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, delivering a satirical monologue aimed at Donald Trump and members of his administration.

Kimmel, who previously hosted the official dinner in 2012, used the segment to critique Trump, as well as figures like Vice President JD Vance and adviser Stephen Miller, through sharp political humor.

He joked that the traditional format of the dinner includes comedians roasting the president, but suggested Trump avoids that setting because he dislikes criticism, framing it as an inability to tolerate jokes.

Kimmel also mocked Trump’s choice of entertainer for the official dinner, claiming he selected mentalist Oz Pearlman instead of a comedian to avoid harsher satire.

His monologue included jokes referencing political controversies, Trump’s public image, and viral media moments, using exaggerated humor typical of late-night political comedy.

Melania Trump was also referenced in the routine, along with commentary on media appearances and documentary portrayals.

The segment ended with a mock award presentation, continuing the satirical tone and positioning the routine as a parody of both political power and media spectacle.
