Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez divorced in August of last year. It was the couple’s second marriage, but although they may not be in a romantic relationship together, they have remained professional as they work together. Still, as they walked the red carpet together on Tuesday for the musical drama “Kiss of the Spider Woman” premiere, some fans are now showing their anger.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have a long history together. The couple first met on the set of the film Gigli in 2002 and later engaged, but two years later, they called it quits. Still, 17 years later, Affleck and Lopez reconnected in August 2022 and remarried.

Sadly, love didn’t last. In August last year, the couple filed for divorce after being separated since April. However, although they are no longer a couple, they have continued to work together.

Recently, Lopez and Affleck have collaborated on the musical drama Kiss of the Spider Woman, in which Lopez stars and Affleck serves as executive producer.

On Tuesday, the film had its New York premiere, and to many’s surprise, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston walked the red carpet together, posing for the cameras.

Per People, Jennifer Lopes took a moment to thank her former husband for making the movie possible, saying, “Thank you so much, thank you everybody for being here tonight. Thank you Ben, this movie wouldn’t have been made without Ben and without Artist Equity.”

Just days ago, while promoting the film, Jennifer Aniston was asked about working with Ben Affleck after they had divorced,

“If it wasn’t for Ben, the movie wouldn’t have gotten made,” she said, brushing off the awkward moment. “And I will always give him that credit,” she said. “And yeah, things happen, you have to keep going.”

“It’s funny, the movie is about escapism. It’s about how movies and art save us in the hardest times of our lives,” she continued. “Doing this project was such a dream come true for me that it really got me through to kind of survive a moment that was difficult in my personal life as well.”

Jennifer concluded, “After [filming] I took some time off and now we’re back. I’m really excited for everybody to see this film. It’s a beautiful film about love.”

While Jennifer Aniston and Ben Affleck appear to have moved on, fans remain annoyed by the red carpet pictures of the two. On social media, several users shared comments of frustration – and confusion.

These two are more indecisive than I am when figuring out where and what to eat,” one user wrote.

A second user commented, “These two are sick. They get married. Break up. Get married. Break up. They give marriage and everything it stands for. Shame and disgrace. He’s a fall down has been actor drunk and she’s an everything in her head narcissist singer,” while a third simply stated, “Girl, leave him alone.”
