Jennifer Aniston reveals why she never adopted a child amid baby battle news

Jennifer Aniston has always been candid about her fertility battle, and this time, the Friends star revealed why she never adopted a child.

Recently, she appeared on the new episode of the Armchair Expertpodcast where she spoke of her unsuccessful journey of becoming a mother. While saying she’s “peaceful” with not being a mom, she did admit that “there’s a point where it’s like out of my control.”

“There’s literally nothing I can do about it,” she added.

When people say, ‘But you can adopt,’ I don’t want to adopt,” Aniston continued. “I want my own DNA in a little person. That’s the only way, selfish or not, whatever that is, I’ve wanted it.

“It just wasn’t in the plan, whatever the plan was… it’s very emotional, especially in the moment when [doctors] say ‘that’s it,’ because there is a weird moment when that happens.”
