I woke up with a crawling sensation on my back—and immediately felt that something wasn’t right.
It wasn’t sharp pain, just a lingering, uncomfortable feeling that something had been there while I slept.
I checked the sheets, pillows, and the edges of the mattress, searching for anything out of place.
Then I noticed a dry, twisted, fibrous object that looked completely out of context in the bed.
For a moment, I just stared at it, unsure of what I was actually looking at.
My mind started jumping to worst-case explanations—something alive, something that had been on me during the night.
The longer I looked, the more unsettling it felt, especially with everyone in the room trying to guess what it could be.
Eventually, after comparing photos and taking a closer look, the tension broke when I realized it was just a dried piece of cooked meat that had somehow ended up in the sheets.
There was no danger—just a strange misunderstanding that felt far more intense in the moment than it turned out to be.
