After nearly a year together, I finally shared a photo of Mark and me on Facebook. Ten minutes later, a chilling message appeared: “RUN from him. NOW.” Startled, I checked the anonymous profile, but it was blank. Then another message arrived, warning me not to tell Mark. My heart pounded with fear.
The next day, I was told to meet this stranger at a café. Mark, oddly, showed up instead, revealing he’d received similar warnings about me. Confused, we sat in silence—until our friend Andrew burst in, confessing to orchestrating it all as a “test” of our trust.
Furious, we confronted him, but as we left, Mark and I realized that, despite Andrew’s cruelty, his prank exposed our need for stronger trust. We vowed to never let fear drive us apart again.
