Using Turmeric and Salt for Plaque and Tartar Removal
Turmeric and salt help reduce plaque and prevent tartar growth at home.
Why They Work:
- Turmeric: Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties fight plaque-causing bacteria.
- Salt: Natural abrasive that helps remove plaque and tartar.
How to Use:
- Turmeric and Salt Paste: Mix 1 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp salt, and water. Brush for 2 minutes and rinse.
- Turmeric Mouth Rinse: Mix 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp salt, and warm water. Swish for 1-2 minutes and rinse with water.
- Turmeric and Coconut Oil Pulling: Mix 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tbsp coconut oil, and a pinch of salt. Swish for 10-15 minutes, spit out, and rinse.
