Homeless lady given free“ugly” abandoned trailer

Mama V had big ambitions to build a sustainable cottage in the woods but faced challenges with her growing furry family of two dogs and many cats. Her old bus was getting crowded, and she needed more space but was unsure of her options.

A generous neighbor offered her an old camper abandoned in his yard. Overjoyed, Mama V sold her bus to embrace a new chapter. The camper, though in need of cleaning and repairs, was structurally sound and leak-free.

With help from friends Jayme and Kevin, the trailer was transformed. Kevin transported it, and Jayme cleaned it thoroughly, removing wasps and restoring its shine. Mama V and Kevin stocked up on supplies, discovering the camper had a functional kitchen, two propane tanks, and ample storage.

Finally settled, Mama V appreciated her cozy new home, featuring twin beds, a pull-out couch, a bathroom with a tub and shower, and a utility monitoring panel. Though temporary, the trailer offered her and her pets comfort and space.

Mama V now dreams of starting a garden and embracing a simple, peaceful life. Grateful for her neighbors’ kindness and her friends’ support, she feels optimistic as she begins this fresh chapter in her new home.
