Greta Thunberg’s brutal response to Donald Trump amid ‘anger management issues’ comment

Donald Trump and Swedish activist Greta Thunberg are not exactly the best of friends. After the activist was deported from Israel, alongside more than a hundred activists, on Monday, Trump branded Thunberg a “troublemaker,” saying she has “anger management issues.” Hours later, Greta gave her reponse to the president – with a brutal comment.

Swedish activist Greta Thunberg was detained and late deported by Israel on Monday after she, alongside more than 100 activists, was participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza, a convoy of boats attempting to sail to Gaza to “break the blockade.”

The 22-year-old landed in Athens, Greece, on Tuesday and held a speech in front of cheering supporters at the airport.

It didn’t take long before Donald Trump had made comments about Greta Thunberg’s latest trip. The President of the United States and the Swedish activist have a long history of, well, not exactly praising each other. And this time was no different.

Trump called Thunberg a “troublemaker,” claiming that it’s a surprise that she’s “so angry” for being that young. Moreover, he suggested she has “anger management issues,” and should see a doctor.

“She is just a troublemaker… she’s no longer into the environment now. She’s a troublemaker. She has an anger management problem. I think she should see a doctor…Have you ever watched her? She’s a young person. She’s so angry, she’s so crazy… She’s just a troublemaker”, Trump said.

Greta Thunberg responds to Donald Trump after “anger management” issues comment

On Tuesday, a plane with activists bound for Sweden took off from Athens. It’s not known at this point whether Greta Thunberg was on it.

However, the activist decided not to remain silent about Donald Trump’s comment and gave a scathing response to the US president.

”I heard Donald Trump once again has expressed his very flattering opinions on my character, and I appreciate his concerns for my mental health,” Greta Thunberg wrote on Instagram.

”To Trump. I would kindly receive any recommendations you might have to deal with these so called ‘anger management problems’ since – judging by your impressive track record – you seem to be suffering fro them too.”
