Four expectant fathers pace the hospital corridor, their wives in labor. A nurse approaches the first man, a grin spreading across her face. “Congratulations! It’s twins!” she exclaims. The man looks puzzled for a moment, then chuckles. “That’s quite a coincidence,” he replies. “I work for the Minnesota Twins.”
The second father is next in line. “Triplets!” the nurse announces with excitement. The man’s eyes widen. “Incredible!” he says. “I’ve always been a fan of threes. I work for 3M, you know.”
As the nurse moves on to the third man, a look of pure joy spreads across his face. “It’s quadruplets!” she declares. The man leaps from his chair. “No way!” he exclaims. “I’ve always wanted a big family. I work at the Four Seasons Hotel!”The fourth man, however, is not sharing in the general euphoria. He’s pacing frantically, his hands in his hair. The nurse approaches cautiously. “Are you alright?” she asks. He looks at her with a mix of despair and disbelief. “I work for 7-Up!” he cries. “I’m doomed!”
