In a world filled with news of bombings, shootings, and hateful acts, it is always best to focus on the good. This will help to remind those who have lost hope of the world becoming a better place to know there are good people out there.

If one was to count the number of good people in the world, one family that will surely make the list is New York’s Cindy and Jeffrey Moore. The adorable couple officially adopted a 5-year-old girl named Cece, whom they had fostered since she was 2 months old. The story of how Cindy and Jeffrey ended up adopting Cece is inspiring and teaches people to always be open to doing good because they will surely get blessings from such acts of kindness.

When Cece arrived at the Moore family’s doorsteps five years prior, no one knew how the story would end. However, Cindy and Jeffrey were eager to care for the little girl and eventually make her a part of the family. Fast forward to the present day, and Cece is now a member of the Moore family as Cindy and Jeffrey’s daughter. Cece’s adoption was made official on May 11, 2023, at Erie County Family Court, according to PEOPLE.
