Donald Trump says ‘a whole civilization will die tonight’ in bone-chilling ultimatum to Iran

President Donald Trump has issued arguably one of the most terrifyingly morbid statements in recent memory amid speculation that a large-scale military strike is being planned against Iran.

Trump warned in a White House speech yesterday that Iran could be wiped out “in one night”, leaving people online to wonder what sort of weapon had the potential to make good on such a threat.

The US and Israel have been in conflict with Iran since the former two countries launched joint strikes on February 28. In the opening salvos of the war, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed, along with multiple family members.

With an end to the conflict not in sight, it appears Trump has grown increasingly frustrated with what he believed would be a relatively simple and swift undertaking.

At a speech at the White House yesterday (Monday, April 6), Trump threatened Iran by saying the entire country “could be taken out in one night.” He ominously added: “And that night could be tomorrow night.”

The warning comes prior to a deadline set by Trump for Tehran to reopen the aforementioned Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier today, however, came Trump’s most ominous threat, after the POTUS tweeted that: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that ‌to happen, but it probably will.”

He added: “We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World.”

In his full threat, posted to Truth Social, Trump said: “However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?

“We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end.”

He concluded: “God Bless the Great People of Iran!”

The warning comes after repeated statements from Trump centering around his wish for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
