Doctor who tried to help Alex Pretti reveals shocking act ICE agents allegedly did after fatally shooting him

A doctor who was on hand to witness the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis this weekend has made the shocking claim that federal argents “counted his bullet wounds” instead of administering the appropriate first aid.

Less than a month on from the killing of 37-year-old mother Renee Nicole Good, shot by an ICE agent as she tried to drive away from a hostile scene on January 7, another U.S. citizen has been shot dead by federal law enforcement.

ICU nurse Alex Pretti, also 37, was in Minneapolis amid ongoing protests over the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration. ICE agents have been roaming the city for weeks, rounding up those they believe to be in the USA without their presence registered with the appropriate bodies.

In a shocking incident filmed from multiple angles, Pretti was shot and killed by ICE agents seemingly after he had been restrained.

The Department of Homeland Security – who readers will remember were quick to make the claim that the aforementioned Renee Good was a “domestic terrorist” who had used her vehicle to try and run over ICE agents – quickly issued a statement claiming that the agent who shot Pretti did so in self defense, adding that Pretti was in possession of a handgun.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara, meanwhile, countered that Pretti is believed to have been a lawful gun owner, with a permit to carry.

At the time of writing, there is no evidence that Pretti intended on causing harm to ICE agents. Indeed, his family have issued a strong statement to the contrary.

One witness, a physician whose statement has been filed in federal court, said they did not see Pretti brandish a weapon at agents.

“I saw him yelling at the ICE agents, but I did not see him attack the agents or brandish a weapon of any kind,” the witness said of Pretti.

“Suddenly, an ICE agent shoved him to the ground. My view of the altercation was partially obstructed, but after a few seconds, I saw at least four ICE agents point guns at the man. I then saw the agents shoot the man at least six or seven times.”

The witness said they attempted to treat Pretti’s injuries, though ICE agents at the scene chose to count the victim’s ‘bullet wounds’ instead.

“I was confused as to why the victim was on his side, because that is not standard practice,” the health expert added.

“Checking for a pulse and administering CPR is standard practice. Instead of doing either of those things, the ICE agents appeared to be counting his bullet wounds.”

Border Control have made the claim that Pretti was trying to “massacre law enforcement”. The 37-year-old’s family, meanwhile, have begged for help from the public to ‘help get the truth out about our son’.
