Bunnie Xo says Jelly Roll ‘severely bigger’ after 275-lb. weight loss

Bunnie Xo has made a bombshell claim about her country crooner husband Jelly Roll, revealing that after he shed more than half his body weight, his penis became “severely bigger.”

Ozempic, Mounjaro, and Wegovy have exploded in popularity over the past year. Originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes, these GLP-1 medications were soon embraced off-label for their appetite-suppressing effects, helping users lose significant amounts of weight in a relatively short time.

But alongside dramatic transformations have come reports of unusual and deeply personal side effects.

Ozempic vagina

In addition to side effects like nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and gastrointestinal issues, some people are noticing unexpected changes to intimate body parts.

Among the most talked about is what some have dubbed “Ozempic vagina” a term used by women describing changes such as dryness or sagging after significant weight loss. While these claims have gone viral, they have not been confirmed by scientific studies.

Now, similar conversations are including men.

Jelly Roll’s weight loss journey

For Jelly Roll, the transformation has been nothing short of dramatic.

At his heaviest in 2020, the “Son of a Sinner” singer tipped the scale at over 500 pounds: “The needle went past 520, but it didn’t blow it down,” Jelly told Men’s Health of his scale that calibrated up to 520 pounds. “And I would play with it – I would teeter the foot up, like, how low could I get it? I was mad optimistic. So, it could have been 560, it could have been 528.”

Today, Jelly Roll – Jason Bradley DeFord – weighs approximately 265 pounds – meaning he has lost more than half his body weight.

Despite the public speculation around GLP-1 drugs, Jelly Roll has said he chose not to rely on them long-term. But, according to Men’s Health, the singer briefly tried weight-loss medication early in his journey but stopped after two weeks.

The artist explained that he managed his food addiction in the same way he handled his substance and alcohol addictions. And then he started exercising.

It’s “just a dramatically different world,” he told the outlet in January 2026.

‘Married to a smoke show’ and ‘struggling’

The physical toll of his weight had affected multiple areas of his life. Speaking candidly about his health, Jelly Roll previously admitted hormonal issues were impacting him intimately.

“My testosterone level – and I’m cool to talk about this openly – was of a preteen boy. I was married to a smoke show, and I was still struggling,” the 41-year-old Grammy winner told Men’s Health, referring to his lack of sexual appetite with his bombshell wife, Bunnie Xo.

“I was so fat that there came a moment in life that my wife and I had to put two queen beds beside each other because we couldn’t fit in a king bed anymore,” he shared.

“Now it’s a totally different thing. I’m chasing her around the house; you know what I’m saying? I’m like a teenage kid again! I’m like the Pink Panther: I bust out of every corner…It’s got to be fun, this new life.”

Bunnie Xo’s bombshell confession

Bunnie Xo, who married the “Save Me” singer in 2016, has never shied away from discussing their personal life.

While promoting her memoir, “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic,” released February 17, the 46-year-old addressed Jelly’s new body during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

Bunnie – Alisa DeFord – told the host that weight loss had noticeably changed her husband’s anatomy.

“It is very true that when a man loses weight, it grows a lot,” the former stripper said.

She also described how his transformation has shifted his confidence.

“He’s getting his confidence back and he’s peacocking around,” she continued. “He’s got a little strut in his step, and I think it’s just the cutest thing.”

Exposes what ‘was previously buried in fat’

While the claim itself has generated headlines, medical experts maintain that the explanation likely lies in fat loss around the pubic region rather than any medication-driven growth.

Dr. Pamela Tambini addressed the trend in comments to Healthline.

“Currently, there is no scientific evidence that GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic cause an actual increase in penis size,” she clarified. “There is no known biological mechanism that links GLP-1 receptor agonists to the growth of genital tissue.”

However, she explained there is a visual effect that can occur after significant weight loss.

“[W]hen men lose significant weight, particularly in the lower abdomen or pubic area, it can uncover more of the base of the penis that was previously buried in fat. So, while the actual length does not increase, more of it becomes visible, which can create the impression of growth.”

In other words, the change may not be anatomical – but perceptual.

What is clear is that Jelly Roll’s transformation has impacted far more than the number on the scale.
