The body of Riley Strain, the missing Missouri college student, has been found in a Nashville river after two weeks of search efforts. The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed the recovery of Strain’s body from the Cumberland River in West Nashville early Friday morning, with no signs of foul play-related trauma observed. An autopsy is pending.
Strain, 22, was last seen on March 8 after being asked to leave Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge Bar in downtown Nashville. Surveillance footage captured him crossing the street from the bar, followed by a brief encounter with police. The next day, his fraternity brothers, who were with him in Nashville, reported him missing.
.
Despite extensive search operations, Strain remained unlocated until March 16, when his bank card was discovered along the riverbank.
