It has been about 7 months since actress Aubrey Plaza’s husband, Jeff Baena, died via suicide in January at the age of 47 years old.
According to CNN, they started dating in 2011, and publicly announced that they were married in 2021. They had worked on multiple projects together including “Life After Beth,” “Cinema Toast” and “Spin Me Round.”
She recently went on her friend and former “Parks and Recreation” costar Amy Poehler’s podcast “Good Hang.” Poehler asked her, “On behalf of all the people who feel like they know you, and the people who do know you, how are you feeling today?”
Plaza answered honestly and thoughtfully saying, “In this very, very present moment, I feel happy to be with you.”
While she was happy at that particular moment, she was honest about the “daily struggle” she feels her life is right now. She said, “I’m here and I’m functioning. I feel really grateful to be moving through the world. I think I’m okay, but it’s like a daily struggle, obviously.”
