Renowned Music Supervisor Robin Kaye and Husband Found Dead in Suspected Double Homicide

Robin Kaye, celebrated music supervisor known for her long-running work on American Idol, was found dead alongside her husband, Thomas Deluca,

in their Encino home. LAPD officers discovered the couple during a welfare check after concerned family members hadn’t heard from them in four days.

Police spotted blood near the front door and, after receiving no response, broke a window to enter. Inside, Kaye and Deluca were found with

apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities are investigating the case as a double homicide, though details remain scarce and no arrests have been made.

The incident follows a reported attempted break-in at the same home just days earlier. Witnesses described a

suspect jumping a fence and possibly armed, though no forced entry or suspect was found at the time.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage, and the home did not appear ransacked, adding to the mystery surrounding the killings.

Robin Kaye, a respected figure in the music industry, worked on American Idol for over 15 seasons and also contributed to shows like Lip Sync Battle.

Her death has sent shockwaves through the entertainment world. Police urge anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
