After All These Years: Married and Still Talking

A man and a woman had been married for many years, and their arguments were the stuff of legend—neighbors could hear

their shouting matches well into the night. The old man would often yell, “When I die, I’ll dig my way out of the grave and haunt

you for the rest of your life!”Their neighbors were terrified of him, and frankly, he seemed to enjoy that reputation.

Then, at the age of 98, the old man passed away. After the funeral, a few neighbors, still shaken, asked his wife, “Aren’t you

scared he might actually dig his way out and haunt you?”She answered calmly, “Let him try. I had him buried upside down, and

he’d never ask for directions.Later in life, the same couple went camping together.

They set up their tent beneath a star-filled sky and soon drifted off to sleep. In the middle of the night, the wife nudged her

husband awake. “Look at the stars,” she said. “Tell me what you see.”He rubbed his eyes and replied, “I see millions of

stars.”“And what does that tell you?” she asked.

He thought for a moment. “Well, if there are millions of stars, and some of them have planets, then it’s likely a few of those

planets are like Earth. And if that’s the case, then maybe there’s life out there.”There was a pause before the wife sighed, “No,

honey. It means someone stole our tent.”LOL!Hope that gave you a smile—have a great day! 😄
