Actress Kelley Mack, best known as Addy on The Walking Dead, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, at age 33,
shortly after her birthday. Her family shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram and CaringBridge, revealing she
died surrounded by loved ones after battling diffuse midline glioma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer.
Born in Cincinnati, Kelley earned a cinematography degree from Chapman University in 2014. She built a career in film and TV,
with credits including Chicago Med, Broadcast Signal Intrusion, 9-1-1, and work on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Despite complications
from spinal surgery that left her unable to walk, Kelley remained positive, publicly documenting her treatment with honesty and gratitude.
She found strength in her faith and support from her family and boyfriend, Logan Lanier. Kelley celebrated
small victories—like climbing stairs again—and shared moments of love and joy throughout her illness.
She is survived by her parents, siblings, grandparents, and Logan. A remembrance will be held on August 16
in Glendale, Ohio, with another celebration in Los Angeles. Kelley’s legacy lives on through her courage, creativity, and the hope she gave others.
