Heather Tom, best known for her role as Katie Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, recently opened up about the loss of her beloved mother, Marie. In an emotional Instagram post, she shared cherished memories through photos, a video, and a poignant message from the heart.

My brother David, sister Nicholle, and my son Michael were all there to hold her hand, kiss her lovingly, and whisper ‘I love you’ as she peacefully departed,” Heather wrote in her tribute.

She honored her mother as her “greatest mentor” and “most unwavering cheerleader,” reflecting on the immense impact Marie had on her life.

Marie, a devoted single mother, was instrumental in helping Heather transition her family to Los Angeles. Heather reminisced warmly about her mother’s love for Mexican cuisine, margaritas, Elvis Presley, and her cherished toy poodles.

“Every day, I will feel her absence,” Heather shared, “but when I look into my son’s eyes, which are just like hers, I’ll see her spirit shining back at me.”

Heather, who tied the knot with musician James Achor in 2011, treasures her role as a mother to their son, Zane Alexander Achor, born in 2012. Reflecting on their bond, she expressed in 2020, “Being your mom is my greatest pride—you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
