RECORD Audrina Patridge, Star Of ‘The Hills,’ Is Mourning The Death Of Her 15-year-old Niece; The Cause Of Death Has Finally Revealed

It has been over a year since Sadie Raine Loza’s death and the reason of her death has been found. She was 15 years old.

Officials said “there is still an open investigation to determine if there are any possible criminal charges.”

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department told PEOPLE that the teen died of an overdose, which is what TMZ first reported.

Patridge, who is 38 years old, posted sad pictures of her niece and herself together over the years on Instagram on February 14 to say that her niece had died.
