A Kia Sportage’s numberplate, ‘370HSSV,’ has gone viral for its hidden message, spelling ‘ahe’ when flipped. Uploaded on Facebook by user Jeffrey, it garnered praise and amusement, with some struggling to decipher it at first. Despite strict regulations, the plate evaded detection by officials in Western Australia, highlighting its cleverness. Last year, nearly 1000 offensive personalized plate applications were rejected.

Interestingly, personalized plates are more popular among men, but not all applications pass review. This incident underscores social media’s power in amplifying everyday occurrences, blurring reality and virtuality. Whether intentional or not, the driver has made a lasting mark on the online landscape.
