DANDY-DO COOKIES

There are times when the sweet tooth cravings hit and you just aren’t in the mood for a full on baking endeavor. And that very occasion is when no-bake recipes are the perfect choice. For example, these easy Dandy-Do Cookies. Peanuts are mixed into a super simple caramel sauce and scooped on top of a Ritz cracker. Yup, they’re as tasty as they sound. If you’re in need of a quick treat, give this recipe a try!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk

How To Make Dandy-Do Cookies

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and arrange crackers in a single layer.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, butter, and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Reduce heat to low and whisk in milk, vanilla, and peanuts until smooth. Cook for 1 additional minute then remove from heat.
  4. Use a cookie scoop to top each cracker with the caramel mixture.
  5. Allow cookies to fully cool, then store in an airtight container.
