Farmer Gets A New Rooster, And The Rooster is More Than He Bargained For

A farmer has 200 hens, but no rooster, and he wants chicks. So he goes down the road to the next farmer and asks if he has a rooster which he would sell.

The other farmer says that he has a great rooster named Randy who can service all of your chickens.

Randy the rooster costs a lot of money, but the farmer decided he would be worth it. So he bought Randy.

After giving the rooster some encouragement, the farmer brings Randy home and places him in the barnyard first. Randy, please keep your pace at this point. You’re here servicing a lot of chickens, and you’re costing me a lot of money.

So, you better do a good job because I’ll need you to. Therefore, take your time and enjoy yourself,” the farmer said with a smile.

When the farmer gestures in the direction of the henhouse, Randy appears to comprehend and bolts off. WHAM! Randy strikes each hen in the henhouse three or four times. The farmer is in disbelief.

Randy seemed to know what the farmer was pointing to, and he quickly took off in that direction. WHAM! Randy nailed every chicken in the henhouse — three or four times. The farmer was surprised.

The farmer hears a commotion in the duck pen, and soon realizes that Randy is inside.

The farmer saw Randy again later on, and this time he got a whole flock of geese.

Randy is out in the fields playing with quail and pheasants until it gets dark.

The farmer is really upset because his expensive rooster won’t last very long.

The farmer went to bed and woke up the next day to find that Randy was dead – perfectly still and frozen in the middle of the yard. The birds were circling overhead.

The farmer is sad to see his expensive animal go, and he tells his friend, Randy, that he warned him not to overuse him. Randy has now caused himself some serious injury.
