Gobsmacked Police Officer Sees Old Man Going 120 MPH on His Bike

Ron is a 67-year-old man from Arizona who would ride his bicycle to his brother’s house every weekend. It usually took him 2 hours, and he always made it there by 2 PM.

One day, a boy decided to try to ride his bike in one hour. He put on his helmet and started pedaling.

After spending 30 minutes going up a hill, the child collapsed from exhaustion. A Corvette pulled up and asked if he needed a ride, and he accepted. The Corvette drove him to the top of the hill and he collapsed from exhaustion again.

Ron knows that he would be late if he didn’t leave now, but he’s already got a passenger in the car.

Ron said, “Thank you for the offer, but how do I get a ride if there are no seats available in the car?”

The man in the Corvette says that he has a rope in the back of his car, and that he can tie your bike to it so that you can ride. It will be a bit windy, but I’m sure we can make it work.

Ron is worried that this solution might not be safe, but he doesn’t want to be late, so he agrees to it.

If the driver is going too fast, the passenger can yell “beep beep” to let the driver know.

Ron gave a thumbs up and off they went.

The first 5 miles went pretty smoothly. But then a Ferrari suddenly passed them. The Corvette then started speeding up to try and catch up to the Ferrari.

The two cars went past a police speed trap quickly.

The police officer looks at the speedometer on his radar gun and radios his colleagues. He is interested in the speed at which the car is travelling.

“Hey guys, the weirdest thing has ever happened to me. A Ferrari and a Corvette just blasted me at over 120 miles an hour on Main Street.”

Why is it so weird that the other cop said that?

The officer said, “Behind them was this old man on a bicycle yelling ‘Bee-Bee-Bee’ as he passed by! ’ he replied
