Country music legend Willie Nelson has recently released his long-anticipated autobiography, “Me and Paul: Untold Stories of a Fabled Friendship.” The book not only celebrates his seven-decade-long friendship with Paul English but also reveals a dark moment in Nelson’s past. In the autobiography, Nelson openly discussed a past suicide attempt, recalling a time when he felt so low that he considered ending his life. He confessed to a bar patron that he once contemplated suicide by putting his head on a train track but returned to the bar after 15 minutes.
However, Nelson has no intention of leaving the music business. He’s focused on enjoying the good life and improving it as much as possible. He emphasized the importance of optimism and revealed his daily routine, including jogging and singing to keep his lungs healthy. Nelson also plans to continue performing live gigs in the years to come. Despite his past struggles, Willie Nelson remains resilient and committed to his music career.
