Cher says she’ll wear jeans and long hair even in her 80s because they make her feel young

At 77, the ever-radiant Cher continues to defy societal norms and expectations.
Throughout her illustrious career, this style icon has consistently pushed boundaries, challenging preconceived notions about how women should present themselves.

As she approaches her 80s, Cher candidly shares the secrets that keep her feeling youthful and vibrant.
And guess what? These are simple practices that anyone, regardless of age, can embrace.

During a recent chat with Good Morning Britain, Cher expressed her astonishment at the passage of time.

“I just can’t believe I will be 80 at some point, sooner than I wish,” she remarked.

But age won’t deter her from being herself.

She confidently stated, “I will still be wearing my jeans, I will still have long hair, and I will continue doing what I’ve always done.”

For many, jeans and long locks symbolize youth.
Yet, Cher has no intention of letting go of these style choices.

She recalled a conversation with her friend Paulette, where they wondered when they’d have to give up jeans and trim their hair.

But for Cher, that moment hasn’t come, and she credits her impressive genes.

After all, her mother, Georgia Holt, lived to be 96.

Cher’s age-defying appearance isn’t just about good genes.
She’s shared some practical tips over the years, such as practicing yoga and cutting out red meats.

But the real magic, it seems, comes from within.

“I don’t know if not feeling old makes you younger,” she mused.

Staying updated with current trends and surrounding herself with friends, both young and old, keeps her spirit youthful.

More than anything, her positive outlook and refusal to be boxed in by age seem to be her fountain of youth.

Cher’s perspective is a breath of fresh air. It challenges societal norms and offers inspiration to women of all ages.

She emphasizes authenticity over trying to fit a mold.

“Honestly, I’m not trying to feel young. I’m not aiming to be young. I am who I am. I’m just getting along,” she declared.

Cher stands as a beacon of self-acceptance and authenticity in a world obsessed with youth and beauty.
