Iran claims Trump

Tensions between the United States and Donald Trump and Iran remain high despite a ceasefire reached on April 8. Although direct missile exchanges have stopped and mediated talks continue, diplomatic relations are still strained.

Iran has accused Trump of making inaccurate and misleading public statements about the conflict and its consequences, further escalating political friction. Iranian officials claim he made multiple false assertions in a short period and is shaping public perception unfairly.

A major point of concern is the Strait of Hormuz, where limited restrictions and operational disruptions have affected tanker movement and oil exports. Because the strait is a key global energy corridor, even partial disruptions have contributed to rising fuel prices.

Iranian leaders have warned that continued pressure could further limit access through the waterway, potentially requiring stricter controls or approvals for passage. While some shipping activity has resumed, officials stress that stability depends on future political and military developments.

Overall, the situation remains tense and unresolved, with both sides maintaining firm positions despite ongoing diplomatic efforts.
